I specialize in helping people who:
Struggle to manage the demands of work (or school)
Feel alone, wanting connection, but scared to reach out to people.
Constantly try to be a perfect partner (employee, or friend) and are exhausted and burnt out.
Get frequently overwhelmed.
Feel frequent anxiety.
Never feel good enough or worthy of love.
Struggle with people pleasing.
Have tried to change with meditation, exercise, medication, yoga, talk therapy, etc. but are still falling back to the same old patterns (perfectionism, shutting people out, going numb, over working, emotional eating, doom scrolling, etc.)
AND are ready to do the deep work to finally heal.
If you're experiencing some of the stuff above, it's usually a sign you have some unresolved trauma or unmet sensory needs.
I specialize in helping people who are neurodiverse (i.e., have ADHD or autism) and have trauma, heal their underlying issues, move past survival, to finally lead authentic, hopeful, connected lives.
I also specialize in helping heal broken parent-child relationships for people who are neurodivergent. I meet with teens and parents, and also adult children and parents.
My private pay rate is $165 per session.
I accept some insurance plans as well. If you want to use your in-network or out of network benefits, your cost for therapy will be dependent on your health insurance plan benefits. Please confirm the mental health benefits of your insurance plan by calling your health insurance company before we meet so that you know what to expect. Please see my fees and insurance page for a full list of insurances I accept.
For low-fee counseling ($100 a session or less), I’d recommend you visit openpathcollective.org. Open path is an organization of therapists nationwide that provide low-fee counseling.
Research has shown that thing most associated with healing and improvement in therapy is the quality of relationship you have with your therapist. Research has also shown that people who are neurodiverse connect best with other people who are neurodiverse. Being neurodiverse myself, I’ve found that I best help people who are neurodiverse.
If you aren't neurodiverse, but really want to work with me, reach out for a free consult, and we can figure it out during that call.
No. An official ADHD or Autism diagnosis is not required to work with me. Self-diagnosed folks are welcome too! 😊
The reason I specialize in working with people is because I’ve found I connect with and best help people who have autism, ADHD, or both.
